PlayStation3 package was about to be made in the form of Blue-ray playback technology, making it the competition for large electronic companies to get the patent. Two electronic tycoons involves in the patent battle are Sony and LG Electronic. The Blue-ray PlayStation3 package, however, was finally won by LG in the public court in The Hague, Netherlands. By that it means, LG has succeeded to take the possession of PlayStation 3 units, which imported to UK.

For at least ten days, all units of PlayStation3 package imported to UK have now become the right and possession of LG Electronics. Based on The Guardian’s report, a large number of PlayStation3 package console were in the custody of Netherlands’ officials. The patent battle between the two electronic manufacturers has caused PSP3 packages disappear from retailers.
