Lawsuit File against Online Retailer Gamestop for Recording Personal Information

Online retailer GameStop got some complaints from public. This online retailer has been filed for a lawsuit, for the accusation of asking for and recording its customers’ personal information submitted to the database. A person who bravely filed the lawsuit comes from California’s county, Melissa Arechiga. She filed the lawsuit against Online retailer GameStop on Wednesday, in which she believed that the online retailer recorded her personal information.

Personal information that is believed to be stored in Online retailer GameStop’s database are including full name, credit card dumber, PII, subsequent to purchase some products from GameStop. It is obvious that Online retailer GameStop has broken the law that forbids corporations to record the PII number of a credit card’s user; it is mentioned on California Civil Code section 1747.08.
